Harm Reduction Peer Support Group

January 30, 2025 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Harm Reduction Peer Support is a group focusing on sharing the lived/living experience of those who use substances and/or alcohol. This group is a safe, non-judgmental space where individuals come together to share experiences, find support, and empower each other in their journeys toward safer choices and healthier lives. Rooted in the principles of harm reduction, the group focuses on practical strategies for reducing the negative effects of substance use, building coping skills, and enhancing personal well-being—regardless of where someone is on their path. Led by peers with lived experience, the group offers a supportive community where members can openly discuss challenges, share insights, and celebrate progress.

This is an open group and any gender diverse people and women can attend. If you need support arranging transportation or have questions, please call a Harm Reduction Outreach Worker at 709-771-1077/709-725-7973.
